Flex Your Power - is California's statewide energy efficiency marketing and outreach campaign. Initiated in 2001, Flex Your Power is a partnership of California's utilities, residents, businesses, institutions, government agencies and nonprofit organizations working to save energy. The campaign includes a comprehensive website, an electronic newsletter and blog, and educational materials. Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) - program is launching a Demand Response Research Center (or "Center") led by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.  As a guiding principle, Center activities are multi-institutional in concept and operation. LBNL is hosting the Center; guiding Center development; and providing technical, operational and planning leadership. The Center director will solicit stakeholder input and adopt research topics accordingly. The Director will also seek the most qualified performers. The Pennsylvania House overwhelmingly approved a bill that would require the state to measure and set up a plan to cut its greenhouse gas emissions. If also approved by the Senate, Pennsylvania would become the 23rd state to establish such a plan.

TEAM is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to informing, educating, and advocating on behalf of energy market participants before working groups, legislative and regulatory bodies. Vermont

 

Efficiency Vermont - statewide provider of energy efficiency services. We're operated by an independent, non-profit organization under contract to the Vermont Public Service Board.  Provides technical advice, financial assistance and design guidance to help make Vermont homes, farms, schools and businesses energy efficient.

 

 

Virginia

 

Staff Report - to support the energy policy goals in § 67-102 of the Code of Virginia, to promote cost-effective conservation of energy through fair and effective demand side management, conservation, energy efficiency, and load management programs, including consumer education. These programs may include activities by electric utilities, public or private organizations, or both electric utilities and public or private organizations. The Commonwealth shall have a stated goal of reducing the consumption of electric energy by retail customers through the implementation of such programs by the year 2022 by an amount equal to ten percent of the amount of electric energy consumed by retail customers in 2006.  PDF (2007-11-16).
